Scope of practice
I am a fellowship-trained uveitis and medical retina specialist. My NHS practice
is at Manchester Uveitis Clinic, the largest tertiary referral service for patients
with ocular inflammation in North West England. Additionally, I am an
ophthalmic surgeon performing routine and complex cataract surgery.

Ocular inflammation
I am experienced in treating patients with severe sight-threatening ocular inflammation:

Uveitis (anterior, intermediate, posterior, and panuveitis) including complex disease requiring periocular and intravitreal treatment and/or systemic immunosuppression.

Scleritis (anterior and posterior) including disease requiring long-term immunosuppressive treatment.
Medical retinal diseases
I am experienced in the management and treatment of medical retinal diseases including:

Age-related macular degeneration (dry and neovascular)

Diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular oedema, retinal vein occlusions, and other retinal vascular diseases

Macular oedema (including uveitic and post-operative)
